The Founder: Gina McKinney, LCSW
Gina McKinney (previously Thompson) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, with a passion for helping others align themselves congruently to live the life they want. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from CUNY York College and her Master’s degree in Social Work from Adelphi University. Gina McKinney is a member of the National Association of Social Workers, the Boris Lawrence Henson Foundation Resource Community, and also a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
McKinney’s work focuses on providing more equitable mental health counseling for everyday people and DEI training for health professionals. Ms. McKinney has a track record of achieving exceptional results in grant procurement and life-cycle management. Ms. McKinney was also a Behavioral Scientist for a North Brooklyn Family Medicine Residency Program providing lectures and training.
Through Quad Behavioral Health—a private practice, McKinney applies her four-point therapeutic and strategic approach rooted in cognitive behavioral therapy. Ms. McKinney understands that every client is unique and deserves a safe, caring environment that prioritizes those needs in order to create and maintain optimal emotional and mental wellness.
